About me.

I am a 26 year old designer and web developer. I studied music through school and college and always had a keen interest in design however was never really exposed to it within education. As soon as I began taking note and designing myself, one thing lead to another and a career soon emerged.

After much hard work in my free time my first stepping stone was freelancing inhouse for a litho printers preparing (fixing) files agencies had send in for print... Fortunately this soon lead to a permanent job for a design studio.

Since then I have moved on and developed a passion for coding websites/emails and in particular adding interactivity to a website. I slice photoshop files, hand code html and css in my sleep, and am fast becoming very competent in jquery.

For any self respecting web developer web standards and accessibility are a given and I am no different, not only is it good practice, create clean code and keep you legal it also has benefits for search engine optimisation. The way I see it my job isn't just making a site work, its making it work the right way.
